I’m Amy — first-time mama to my sweet girl, Ember, and the heart behind Healthy Honeydew. I started this space somewhere between newborn cuddles, nap “windows,” and those bottomless breastfeeding hunger waves. I wanted nourishing, simple recipes that felt good and fit into real, busy mom life… and when I couldn’t find quite what I needed, I started creating them myself.
How it all began
In the early weeks of motherhood, I found myself craving food that was:

One of my first lightbulb moments happened on a sunny stroller walk with Ember — the kind where you feel fresh air for the first time all day. I realized how vital it is to nourish myself, not just everyone else. That tiny shift changed everything.
And the name Healthy Honeydew?
