I’m Amy, a first-time mama to my sweet daughter, Ember, and the heart behind Healthy Honeydew. I started this space in the middle of new motherhood, navigating full days, a growing appetite (thanks, breastfeeding!), and the desire to feed my family and myself food that’s nourishing, simple, and joyful.
How it all began…
During those early days (and still today!) I craved recipes that are:
- Quick & practical — life is full, and the chaos is real
- Wholesome & nourishing — because our bodies deserve it
- Comforting & joyful — because meals are memories in the making
When I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, I decided to create it. One of my first “aha” moments came on a sunny walk with Ember in her stroller, soaking up fresh air and a little slice of freedom. It hit me how important it is to nourish myself, so I can feel good and energized as a new mom.
The name Healthy Honeydew felt just right: fresh, fun, and light — a gentle reminder that you matter too, mama.
