Equipment

  • 1 air-fryer or skillet
  • 1 small mixing bowl
  • 1 silicone basting brush

Ingredients

  • 2 center-cut salmon fillets approx. 6 oz each, patted dry
  • 1.5 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.

Make the Maple Balsamic Glaze

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the pure maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, and extra virgin olive oil.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket. Brush the maple balsamic glaze generously over the top and sides of each fillet.

Bake and Serve

  • Air fry at 400°F for 7 to 9 minutes, until the salmon is cooked to your liking and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove carefully, let rest for 1 minute, and serve warm.

Notes

    • Texture & Flavor: The balsamic and maple reduce slightly in the air fryer to create a sticky, caramelized crust that balances the rich, tender salmon.
    • Suggested Pairing: Serve alongside our Apple Pecan Salad with Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette for a complete, vibrant dinner plate.
    • Dietary Swaps: Naturally gluten-free and dairy-free.
    • Finishing Touch: Finish with a pinch of artisanal flaky sea salt and a wedge of fresh lemon right before serving.
