Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed ripe banana (about 2 medium)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar or pure maple syrup (I like organic cane sugar)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (or coconut oil works too)
  • 2 large eggs

Add-In

  • 1 large apple diced

Cinnamon Streusel

  • 1/4 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp cold butter, cubed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Mash bananas, then whisk in brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Fold dry ingredients into wet, then fold in apple.
  • Mix streusel ingredients until crumbly.
  • Pour batter into pan, sprinkle streusel on top, bake 50–60 min
  • Cool 10 min, then slice and serve. ✨

Notes

  • For a sweeter loaf, drizzle extra maple syrup on top.
  • Optional: fold in ΒΌ cup chopped nuts for crunch.
  • Make-ahead: freeze individual slices for quick snacks.
